Beardslee Waites Architects is a full-service design firm that provides comprehensive services, including design, presentation, documentation, and constructability analysis. Scott Beardslee has worked with his colleague for over 25 years, first collaborating on a joint thesis project at the University of Texas, Austin, before establishing the firm 15 years ago.
Beardslee Waites Architects has developed a reputation for delivering thoughtful, innovative design solutions, The team’s expertise spans a diverse range of project types, from large-scale institutional facilities to commercial showcases and high-end single-family residences. Naturally curious, our team approaches each new challenge with a unique perspective.
Scott Beardslee
My career in Architecture has spanned twenty-five years, including five running a practice in Brooklyn, NY. The last fifteen spent as a Principal for a Texas-based architecture firm. I was responsible for building a higher education practice and rebuilding the firm’s Austin office. I finished my time with this company as their Director of Emerging Markets.
I love competition and enjoy the intersection of creative work and analytic rigor. New global trends in technology have profoundly influenced my attitude toward the architectural field.
